Kyle Taylor, partner at Affleck Greene McMurtry LLP, will be speaking at the CBA Competition Law Section’s Competition Litigation Committee presentation Here, There, and Everywhere: Jurisdiction, the Civil Provisions and s. 36 of the Competition Act.

The teleconference will be held on February 13, 2019 from 12:30-2:00 p.m. EST and is free for all CBA Competition Law Section members, Section Affiliates and members of the Competition Bureau.

Kyle and other Panel participants will discuss aspects of the Competition Act, how far the Act’s reach goes, and what factors the courts and the Competition Tribunal should consider when determining whether to assume jurisdiction over conduct that occurs outside of Canada.
