David Vaillancourt on CBC Radio to discuss record-setting costs order against Commissioner of Competition

David Vaillancourt was interviewed for an August 30, 2023 national radio segment on CBC Radio about the recent $13 million costs award issued against the Commissioner of Competition in the Rogers and Shaw merger case. The costs order was issued against the Commissioner by the Canadian Competition Tribunal after the Commissioner’s failed attempt to block the merger of Rogers and Shaw. The award is the largest costs award issued in the history of the Canadian Competition Tribunal.
