Construction Benvas Inc. pleads guilty to bid-rigging, fined $100,000
Construction Benvas Inc. pleaded guilty and was fined $100,000 for its role in a bid-rigging conspiracy related to an infrastructure repair project in Quebec, the Bureau announced on October 11, 2016. Construction Benvas Inc. was paid $25,000 by the winning bidder, CIV-BEC Inc., for unlawfully agreeing not to submit a bid for the infrastructure repair project on Courville St. This is the second guilty plea in respect of the Courville St. project.
